Arthur Allan Boxlock Fowler, A Glasgow Scotland fowler, 12 bore, 2 1/2" chambers, 1 1/4 oz. nitro proof, 30" barrels choked .035 Full and .035 Full, 13 7/8" LOP over an old Silvers red pad, 1 1/2" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/8" cast off for RH shooter, 7 lbs. 8 oz., extractors, vacant gold oval, single trigger, round knob prince-of-Wales grip, splinter fore-end, square cross bolt, drop points. This is a pretty nice pedigree gun underneath here with very nice straight grain English walnut. It's ready to shoot as is but with a little wood refinish and a new pad, it would greatly improve the asthetics. The pad is hard and brittle and needs to be replaced. The gun will come back to 14" or more with a new pad. Heavier than normal proof, full chokes, and heavy weight makes a good fowler gun.
