Fox A Grade Boxlock, circa 1925, 16 bore, 6 lbs. 1 oz., 2 3/4" chambers, extractor, 28" No. 3 steel barrels weighing 2 lbs. 14 oz., choked .006 IC and .014 Mod, 14 1/2" LOP over a 1" leather covered pad, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/2" DAH, neutral cast, double triggers, straight grip, splinter forend, case colored boxlock action, barrels engraved "Made by A.H. Fox Gun Co. Phila PA U.S.A" and "Chromox Fluid Compressed Steel" with a raised concave machined game rib with front and mid ivory beads, straight grained American walnut stock. Excellent condition gun showing about 70% case colors overall with only wear where it should be on bottom in hand holding position and thumb side of top lever, nice and tight and on face, bores are excellent and untouched and still slightly undersized at .660 on both left and right, blue excellent with slight softening at muzzle, wood is excellent with very light handling marks with a couple of small wood chips on forend.
