Fenwick Aetos rod. An American classic rod company born in Seattle in the golden age of the 1950's returns to the fly rod market by way of association with Hardy and Grey's of England. The well regarded Grey's rods and name have been dropped from the US market but some of the Grey's rods are all now under the Fenwick name in the US. This Fenwick Aetos is the Grey's GR50 from a couple of years ago. Under both names, this rods frequently finds itself scoring very well in shootouts, usually in the top 15 or so rods on the market and is considered one of the "best buys" for the money. This rod features a high performance fast action 4-piece blank in deep blue color, large diameter gunsmoke stripper guides and double foot gunsmoke snake guides, anodized aluminum double up-lock reel seat, AAA grade cork handle and a cloth covered rod tube and bag.
