James Carr & Sons boxlock ejector, 16 bore, 6 lbs. 2 oz., 2 3/4" chambers, original 28" fluid steel nitro reproved 70mm (2 3/4") 900 BAR, choked .006 IC and .014 Mod., smooth sunken concave game rib engraved "James Carr & Sons, Gun & Rifle Makers, Birmingham", 15" LOP over a leather covered pad, 1 5/8" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/4" cast off, ejectors, double triggers, straight grip, splinter forend with A&D push button release, automatic safety, boxlock action acanthus scroll engraving pattern with "James Carr & Sons" in a banner on both sides of action, highly figured European walnut stock with fiddleback, vacant gold oval. Excellent condition gun very good finishes but with minor handling marks from use, some case colors remain in protected areas, scuff wear to leather covered pad. Excellent barrels with both bores dead on at .662 and both min. wall thickness at .027. Action is tight and on face, ejectors are in time. An excellent small action and lightweight British 16 Bore made on a 20 bore frame size.
