Pendleton

Crown Of The Continent Blanket

Glacier was the first national park honored with a Pendleton wool blanket in the early 1900s. This special edition was created to celebrate the park's 100th anniversary, and features Pendleton's original blanket's iconic stripes along with traditional park motifs and a backdrop of the rugged Rocky Mountains. This blanket is woven in Pendleton's Oregon mill.  It reverses for a dramatically different look. The corner patch was inspired by a 1920s Glacier Park window decal.

This blanket is only made in Robe size (64" x 80"), the size preferred by Native Americans for gifting and ceremonial purposes.  A Robe size blanket fits a twin or full-size bed, and works well as a throw, a wearable wrap, wall hanging, or folded at the foot of a bed.
