DHE, 16 Bore, circa 1929, 6 lbs. 8 oz., 2 1/2" chambers 28" Titanic Steel barrels with a raised concave machined game rib, choked .014 Mod. and .027 Full, squared dolls head rib extension, 1 frame size, standard DHE grade engraving featuring acanthus scroll work with pointers on left and right sides and pheasants on the bottom, double triggers, pleasingly figured walnut stock with 14" LOP, 1 11/16" DAC, 2 3/4" DAH, Neutral cast, pistol grip, splinter forend, drop points, vacant stock oval, skeleton butt plate, Parker Bros. grip cap. A fine specimen that looks to be for the most part, original. Case colors are about 20% on outside of action and strong in protected areas, and about 80% inside on forend iron and action water table. Trigger guard blue is thinning in the correct areas from handling and looks to be original. Stock has a few minor bumps and marks from use. Barrel blue is likely renewed at some point showing no thinning. Action is tight. An honest gun in excellent condition and used sparingly.
