Mod. and .042 Extra Full, 14 5/16" LOP to a horn butt plate, 1 1/2" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/4" cast off for right hand shooters, original black powder proof, fine English scroll engraving with maker's name in banner on both sides, Deeley-Edge forend release with horn inlay at tip, horn inlay points as stock drop points, straight grip, splinter forend, double triggers, extractor, vacant gold oval in stock, Greener crossbolt, Greener non-automatic safety, pleasantly figured stock, machined concave game rib engraved "W.W. Greener, 68 Haymarket London, St. Mary's Square Birmingham, Winner At The London Gun Trials 1875, 1877, 1878, & 1879", breech end of rib also scroll engraved with one grouse standing and one grouse in flight . Circa 1890. A well maintained gun, bores at .738 and .738, min. barrel wall thickness at .031 in both.
