In the 130th anniversary year of the Hardy Perfect reel, it's being reintroduced for a limited basis only in the narrow spool version which hasn't been available for many decades. With all the features that's made the Perfect such a long lived and collected reel, it is bench-made in England and has the traditional circular ball bearing race that makes it so smooth, rim mounted drag adjustment, hand polished circular line guard, and comes in either left hand or right hand retrieve versions. Available in just the two most popular trout sizes, the 2 7/8" diameter for 3/4 wt. lines and the 3 1/8" diameter for 4/5 wt. lines. Made with a gun metal anodized finish which most closely matches the pre-war lead oxide finish color. Each reel is serial numbered on the foot and comes with a soft black leather case with shearling interior.
