Thomas Wild Boxlock Extractor, Made in 1948, 12 bore, rebarreled in 1963 with 2 3/4" chambers with a 3 1/4 tons proof, reproved in London in 1990 at 1200 BAR, 28" fluid steel barrels choked .008 IC and .016 Lt. Mod, 6 lbs. 13 oz., 14 7/8" LOP over a wood spacer and leather covered pad, 1 5/8" DAC, 2 7/16" DAH, 3/8" cast off for right hand shooters, double triggers, boxlock action with automatic safety with "Safe" in gold, straight grip, splinter forend, raised flat file cut rib, chambers .729 as proved, barrel wall thickness .030 and .032, pleasing straight grained walnut stock, acanthus scroll engraved with maker's name on sides, traces of original case colors in protected areas. Good condition gun that would make a good shooter, action nice and tight, excellent wall thickness in the barrels, the only future maintenance we see is the rib could stand a resolder.
