Starting in 1924 near Stoke-on-Trent, England, Belstaff produced practical waterproof garments for both men and women. Belstaff became the first company in the world to use Egyptian waxed cotton to manufacture 'breathable' yet waterproof clothing for motorcyclists.
Over the decades, Belstaff developed a rich heritage outfitting some of the most famous explorers, aviators, and motorcycle racers from world record speed holder Joe Wright (Belstaff's first Ambassador) to TE Lawrence, Amelia Earhart, Steve McQueen, and many Isle of Man winners. Belstaff continues to produce both stylish and functional goods for today's adventurists.
