Arrieta Model 578 Sidelock Ejector, 12 bore, 2 3/4" chambers, double triggers, round knob grip, semi-beavertail forend, 28" barrels choked .010 IC and .020 Mod., 6 lbs. 11 oz., 14 3/4" LOP over a 1/2" pad, 1 1/2" DAC, 2 1/8" DAH, 1/8" cast off for right hand shooter, hand detachable sidelock action with silver finish, Purdey style acanthus scroll engraving pattern, cocking indicators, disc set strikers, chopper lump barrels, raised flat hand file cut rib, rolled trigger guard, articulated front trigger. Highly figured European walnut stock with drop points. This gun was ordered through New England Arms and made in 1998. Upgraded with the following options at that time: wood upgrade, hand filed rib, round knob grip, semi-beavertail forend. Good used condition gun with handling and use marks, barrel blue some thin areas and blue scratches, disc sets for strikers are replacements, gas escape valve screws are proper replacements but are unengraved, forend screws likely also replacements as they are unengraved.
