This jacket brings back an iconic fabric from Filson's 1980s archives. The Safari Cloth fabric is a cotton canvas with an exceptionally tight weave, and is used for jackets on safaris for protection against aggressive insects. The material withstands abrasion and is nearly impervious to wind. The tight weave provides excellent durability. This lightweight jacket features large self-fabric overlays on both sides house all the front pockets, which consist of a button-fastening flap pocket on right chest, a chest pocket divided into three compartments on the left as well as two side-entry pockets at lower front. Additional features include a snap front, snap fit tabs at bottom hem, adjustable snap cuffs, and a long back pleats for easy of motion.
