Gary Howells, 7 ft. 6 in., 2/2, 5 wt., 3 1/8 oz., Rod no. 3984, circa 1972, aluminum slide band reel seat over a cork spacer, standard brown wraps with yellow/gold tipping and a few wraps of red near the hook keeper, wrapped ferrule, nice medium action, an earlier rod by Gary in excellent condition with some grip soiling, one tip looks to be a replacement by Gary and serial numbered to the rod, with original bag and labeled tube, an excellent all-around trout rod from Gary.
