William Powell No. 4 Boxlock Ejector, Made in 1986, 12 bore, 3" chambers as proved, 4 tons nitro proof, 29" fluid steel chopper lump barrels choked .022 Mod and .036 Full, 7 lbs. 4 oz., 14 3/4" LOP to checkered butt, 1 3/8" DAC, 2 1/16" DAH, 1/8" cast off for right hand shooters, double triggers, scalloped action with automatic safety with "Safe" in gold, straight grip, splinter forend, smooth concave game rib engraved "William Powell & Son, 35 Carrs Lane, Birmingham", chambers .728 as proved, barrel wall thickness .035 and .035, nicely figured walnut with drop points and fine checkering, fine English scroll engraving with rose bouquet accents and double banners engraved "William Powell & Son, Birmingham", near 100% original case colors with vibrant blue tones, comes with it's original high quality leather motor case made by Brady and featuring burgundy cloth and a maker's leather label, included are an ebony cleaning rod, Powell snap caps and oil bottle as well as case keys, case has a canvas cover with original owner's leather initial block removed. Excellent near new condition gun with original owner's initials in the gold oval.  The cost of this gun new today out of England would be well over $40,000.  Built to be a heavy driven, live pigeon, or fowler.
